Job Description We are looking for a motivated and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality, memorable dining experiences. This role is ideal for a developing chef who is eager to grow skills while contributing to the authentic, adventure-driven spirit of our mountain retreat. Key Responsibilities Culinary Support & Food Preparation Assist the Chef de Partie and Head Chef in preparing and cooking dishes to established standards. Carry out mise en place efficiently to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service. Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines consistently. Support the preparation of ingredients while maintaining freshness and quality. Hygiene, Safety & Standards Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times. Maintain clean and organized workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Ensure correct handling, labeling, and storage of food items. Report any equipment issues, safety hazards, or maintenance needs promptly. Teamwork & Development Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen staff, and service teams to ensure efficient service. Take direction from senior chefs and respond positively to feedback. Support and learn kitchen operations to develop skills and prepare for progression to Chef de Partie. Participate in team briefings and training sessions as required. Qualifications Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in similar kitchen roles within hotels, resorts, or restaurants preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, plating, and kitchen operations. Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
