Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry Are you a skilled pastry professional ready to take the next step in your culinary career? We are looking for a Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry who will support pastry operations, maintain quality standards, and contribute creatively to desserts and bakery production in a professional hospitality environment. A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: * Assisting the Pastry Chef de Partie in managing daily pastry and bakery operations. * Preparing and producing desserts, pastries, cakes, breads, and bakery items according to recipes and standards. * Ensuring proper mise en place and smooth service for à la carte, buffet, and banquet operations. * Supervising and guiding Pastry Commis Chefs during daily production. * Maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency. * Ensuring strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards. * Monitoring portion control, minimizing wastage, and supporting cost control. * Assisting with stock control, requisitions, labeling, and FIFO practices. * Coordinating with other kitchen sections to ensure timely service. * Supporting creative input for dessert presentations and menu development. What we need from you: * Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry or Senior Pastry Commis, preferably in a hotel or high-volume kitchen. * Strong foundation in pastry, bakery, and dessert production. * Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented kitchen environment. * Good communication skills in English; Arabic language will be an advantage. * Strong teamwork, discipline, and eagerness to grow. * Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. * Culinary or pastry qualifications will be an advantage.
