Position: Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry Section (Mediterranean Cuisine)

Salary: AED 4,500 per month + service charge & gratuities

REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently based in the UAE with immediate availability.
  • Proficient in English, with strong communication skills.
  • Solid basic knowledge of pastries and bakery, plus some experience working with chocolate.
  • Familiarity with classic French pastry techniques.
  • Well-presented, well-spoken, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, or fine dining environment is preferred.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a pastry professional who has a strong foundation in classic French pastry techniques, bakery skills, and basic chocolate work, and who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and quality-driven kitchen environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare, bake, and present pastries, desserts, and baked goods to the highest standards.
  • Execute recipes and plating with precision, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Assist in the creation and testing of new pastry items for menus and specials.
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in compliance with HACCP standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Pastry Chef and wider kitchen brigade to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering and inventory control for pastry ingredients.
  • Uphold the restaurant’s commitment to exceptional quality and guest satisfaction.
