Overview
Reporting to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef this position has the unique opportunity to provide an excellent culinary experience to guests with a team of passionate and skilled people. All while enjoying a beautiful view of our vineyard each day!

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing food in accordance with company standards; for restaurant and events.
  • Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare dishes.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Ravine’s daily, weekly and seasonal menu offerings.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times.
  • Cleans the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.
  • The kitchen staff works with team to receive, stack, and properly store food in kitchens, cold storage, and storerooms.
  • Transfer food and supplies to the kitchen as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Educational & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience.
  • Must be able to follow directions, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.

  • Dependable: Must be punctual, reliable, energetic individuals who can work in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Organization: Must be able to easily access and store many types of information on a daily basis.
  • Multitasking: Must be able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks while maintaining sanitary and safe environment.
  • Adaptability: Able to accept changing conditions and new information in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical: Must be able to use kitchen equipment, will be required to work long periods without rest, occasionally lift or move objects over 50LBS.

Schedule Requirements

  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
