Hospitality is a work of heart, Job Description We are seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef de Partie specializing in Italian cuisine to join our culinary team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will work under the supervision of the Chef de Partie to ensure the highest quality of Italian dishes are prepared and presented to our guests. Assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic Italian dishes, maintaining consistency and quality standards Manage a specific section of the kitchen, overseeing junior staff and coordinating with other sections Ensure proper food storage, handling, and rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste Collaborate with the Chef de Partie to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies for your section Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Italian cooking techniques and kitchen operations Participate in menu planning and recipe development to enhance our Italian offerings Ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes during service hours Qualifications Saudi nationality is required for this position Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role within Italian cuisine Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution (preferred) Current food safety certification Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment Fluency in Arabic; English language skills are a plus Passion for Italian cuisine and commitment to culinary excellence Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
