Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit https://careers.accor.com/ Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo! #BELIMITLESS" Job Description Demi Chef - Pastry Key Responsibilities: Oversee the pastry section and produce a range of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods in accordance with established standards, demonstrating technical proficiency and precision Manage daily production schedules, inventory, and workflow whilst maintaining rigorous food safety and hygiene standards across all pastry operations Monitor and control food costs, minimising wastage and optimising resource utilisation Contribute to menu development in collaboration with senior kitchen staff and provide guidance to junior pastry team members Ensure all work meets quality specifications and operational deadlines Qualifications Formal culinary qualification in Patisserie or Commercial Cookery Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar professional kitchen role Strong knowledge of HACCP-compliant kitchens and food safety standards Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality pastries and baked goods with consistency and attention to detail, whilst managing costs and minimising wastage Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment A collaborative approach with the ability to train and support junior team members Job-Category: Culinary Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
