We are currently seeking an experienced part-time Demi Chef, Pastry to join our kitchen brigade at Cordis Auckland! Key Responsibilities: Prepares, presents, and displays menu items in the pastry kitchen. Supports the Chef de Partie, Pastry in day-to-day operations. Supervises and mentors Commis Chefs, ensuring standards and productivity. Maintains a clean, safe, and organised workspace, upholding HACCP standards. Assists with training, developing, and motivating the team. Takes initiative to create moments of “wow” for guests through pastry presentation and quality. Our Ideal Candidate: Chef/patisserie qualifications (non-negotiable for Demi). Experience working in pastry within hotels or professional kitchens. Strong leadership ability - able to support and guide junior chefs. High attention to detail and creativity in presentation. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Flexible to work a rotating roster over 7 days covering both morning and evening shift.
