A few of your responsibilities:
- Support or lead the assigned section as directed by the Sous Chef and provide training to junior staff members.
- Assist with fundamental cooking and food preparation tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
- Complete all duties in line with company and statutory hygiene requirements
- Meet requirements for consistency and high quality in a fast-paced environment
What we are looking for:
- Experience working within fine dining venues, steak house desirable.
- Experience with Woodfire cooking desirable
- Must hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher
- Strong communication skills and understanding of relevant liquor laws.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
