As a Dairy Grocery Associate, you’ll ensure product quality, proper rotation, and a clean, well-stocked department while delivering friendly, excellent customer service. “There are no strangers here, only friends we have yet to meet.” — Frank Oakes Position Summary: The Demo Lead will oversee and coordinate all in-store demo activities to ensure a positive and engaging experience for our customers. This role involves managing demo schedules, training demo staff, and ensuring that all product demonstrations are executed to the highest standards. The Demo Lead will work closely with the department managers and senior leadership to align demo strategies with overall store objectives. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Training: Train, and supervise demo staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and effective in engaging with customers. Demo Scheduling: Create and manage demo schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and special events. Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the products being demonstrated and ensure demo staff are well-informed. Customer Engagement: Foster a welcoming environment for customers, answering questions, and providing information about the products being demonstrated. Quality Control: Monitor demo activities to ensure compliance with company standards and provide feedback to demo staff for continuous improvement. Inventory Management: Coordinate with Department Managers to ensure demo products are in stock and properly displayed. Collaboration: Work with department managers and senior leadership to develop and implement demo strategies that support promotional campaigns and sales goals. Compliance: Ensure all demo activities comply with health and safety regulations. Qualifications: Previous experience in a supervisory role within a retail or grocery store environment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and retail operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Reliable Transportation Fluent in the English Language At least 18 years old Ability to wear non-slip shoes to ensure a safe working environment (please note that the company does not provide). Communication Skills: Effective speaking skills to convey instructions and communicate with coworkers clearly and accurately, especially in a loud or busy environment.
