The Demo Trainee will join Airbus Public Safety and Security’s (PSS) Business Analyst department consisting of an international team with 15 professionals in Finland, France, Germany and Belgium. The team contributes to the growth of Airbus PSS with their mission to develop new market segments, manage innovation projects, and also to develop and manage the demo capabilities of Airbus PSS. The team is working closely with several internal stakeholders such as Marketing and Sales, to capture and win new business by e.g. showcasing Airbus portfolio to customers in events around the globe.
In this context, the Business Analyst department is looking for a trainee to support its demo team, and in particular on the following subjects.
Supervised by your tutor, your Main Tasks will include:

Develop New Demo Solutions :

• Learning of solutions developed by Airbus PSS (f.e. MCx/Agnet) with the aim of identifying opportunities for enhancing demos of products and solutions.
• Design and implement software solutions, with a focus on machine learning, AI, and API integrations.

Technology Integration:

• Work closely with existing product offerings (MCx/Agnet) and seamlessly integrate new software solutions to enrich the overall product portfolio and demos.
• Create robust APIs to facilitate the integration of new software components into our existing solutions.

Coding and Scripting:

• Utilize your skills and experience in python and other programming languages to write clean, efficient and maintainable code.

Virtualization and containerization:

• Apply your knowledge of virtual machines and docker to ensure smooth deployment and scalability of developed solutions.

Problem solving:

• Analyze Technical challenges and propose effective solutions, demonstrating a proactive and problem solving attitude.
• Occasionally support the Preparation and production of demos which will include setting up & configuring demo equipment and software.
• Helping to optimize the design, development and validation of new digital tools and methods to improve management of demos (e.g. demo catalog, stock management of demo equipment…).

The duration of this trainee period is 6 months and will start in between March and April. The position is full-time during summer months 2024 and part-time (at least 3 days a week) during other times.
