The Demo Trainee will join Airbus Public Safety and Security’s (PSS) Business Analyst department consisting of an international team with 15 professionals in Finland, France, Spain, Germany and Belgium. The team contributes to the growth of Airbus PSS business with their mission to develop new market segments, manage innovation projects, and also to develop and manage the demo capabilities of Airbus PSS. The team is working closely with several internal stakeholders such as Marketing and Sales, to capture and win new business by e.g. showcasing Airbus portfolio to customers in events around the globe. In this context, the Business Analyst department is looking for a trainee to support its demo team. Supervised by your tutor, your main tasks will include: Develop New Demo Solutions Learn solutions developed by Airbus PSS (f.e. MCx/Agnet) with the aim of identifying opportunities for enhancing demos of products and solutions. Design and implement software solutions, with a focus on machine learning, AI, and API integrations. Technology Integration Work closely with existing product offerings (MCx/Agnet) and seamlessly integrate new software solutions to enrich the overall product portfolio and demos. Create robust APIs to facilitate the integration of new software components into our existing solutions. Coding and Scripting Utilise your skills and experience in python and other programming languages to write clean, efficient and maintainable code. Virtualization and containerization Apply your knowledge of virtual machines and docker to ensure smooth deployment and scalability of developed solutions. Problem solving Analyse technical challenges and propose effective solutions, demonstrating a proactive and problem solving attitude. Occasionally support the preparation and production of demos which will include setting up & configuring demo equipment and software. Help to optimise the design, development and validation of new digital tools and methods to improve management of demos (e.g. demo catalog, stock management of demo equipment...). The duration of this trainee period is 6 months and will start in between March and April. Who do we see working in this trainee position? Our trainee programme is aimed at those currently pursuing their studies at university or university of applied sciences. Therefore for this position, we hope that you are completing your Bachelor’s thesis or studying to complete your Master's degree in the field of SoftwareEngineering, Information Technology, or other related fields. Besides basic office tools such as Google Suite Tools (Mail, Drive, Sheet, Slides, Docs, Forms etc.) as well as JIRA & Confluence, you should have good knowledge of the following technical areas and solutions: Strong programming skills, with proficiency in Python and familiarity with other languages Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Redhat Virtualization) and containerization (Docker) Cloud Environments (AWS, AZURE,OVH) is not compulsory but a bonus to have Understanding of Linux environments Other optional technical knowledge would be: Salesforce Qlik Video Streaming servers and Protocols like (rtmp/rtsp) Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere,etc.) Communication and presentation skills 3D-design /modeling & 3D Printing Otherwise, we value your enthusiasm for personal development and growth.
