As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Demolition Foreman to lead our crews and ensure successful project execution.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Demolition Foreman is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, managing crew members, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining efficiency on all assigned demolition projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, superintendents, and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in demolition or construction, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of interior demolition methods, tools, and equipment.
  • Experience working with hazardous materials, including proper handling and disposal procedures, is an asset.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and project specifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, First Aid, WHMIS, Fall Protection, Asbestos Awareness) are preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of demolition workers on-site.
  • Plan and execute interior demolition tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and work orders.
  • Coordinate equipment, tools, and materials required for each project.
  • Communicate with the Superintendent and Project Manager regarding project progress, challenges, and required adjustments.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Train and mentor crew members to uphold company standards and work ethics.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily logs and safety reports.
