JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to lead our demolition projects with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. The successful candidate will oversee demolition operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. This role requires a strong background in various demolition and stripout disciplines and the ability to manage a team effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the demolition or construction industry.
  • Cscs
  • First aid
  • CCDO or similar
  • Ipaf
  • 360 digger ticket
  • Driving licence
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate demolition activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the best approach for demolition while minimising disruption to surrounding areas.
  • Manage and train crew members in safe operating procedures for hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints.
  • Oversee the proper disposal of materials and waste management in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and incident reports.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
