Responsibilities

We are seeking to recruit a Laboratory demonstrator, who will be available to work throughout the academic year and will be paid on an hourly basis (up to a maximum of 100 hours per annum).
In the Department of Engineering, we provide our students opportunities to gain knowledge and skills through laboratory and seminar sessions in the Engineering Building (Clifton campus). Duties will include assisting the academic staff in running the class offering advice and support to students, liaising with technical staff and marking where required.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate ideas of a complex or technical nature to students effectively, as well as having sound engineering knowledge.
