JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional patient experience
and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. If you have excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for patient care, we would love to hear from you.
You will gain valuable skills in this position that will make you highly employable in the Canadian economy, especially in the administration sector. You will be at the forefront of patient interaction, and their
first touch point with the clinic (i.e the face of the office). This is a fast-paced position that will often require you to juggle several crucial tasks efficiently while maintaining patient interaction in the office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Must have previous experience in an administrative or front desk related role, preferably in a medical or dental office setting. Experience with Dentrix software is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and team members, ideally significant previous customer service experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software (Dentrix), Gmail, and general technological proficiency.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Customer Service Orientation: You have an energetic and outgoing personality with a passion for helping those around you and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Proactive Approach: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive in addressing tasks and challenges.
- Quick Learner: Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: DCS / DEC (preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental receptionist (preferred)
- Location: Ability to commute to and from Downtown Toronto, ON.
- Work Schedule: Monday & Tuesdays with the possibility of other days, and weekends as needed.
- Hours: Part-time, expected hours: 12 to 30 per week.
