JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and reliable Dental Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing essential support to both staff and patients . This position requires a strong background in customer service with at least one year in the dental field.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a dental adminstrator with at least one year experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
    Candidates must be available during the following hours:
    Mondays and Tuesdays - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
    Wednesdays and Thursdays - 7:00 to 3:30 pm
    Alternate Fridays starting on September 12, 2025
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and handling inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for dental providers.
  • Process patient information using electronic medical records systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Answer phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Processing insurance claims.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is stocked and functional.
  • Sending and following up on pre-determinations.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve office procedures and enhance patient experience.
  • Completing day end.
  • Collecting and processing payments
  • Utilize software such as ClearDent for patient management and record keeping.
  • Assist with sterilization duties as needed.
