JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment, particularly within a medical or dental setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and experience with electronic medical records, making them an essential part of our front desk operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- MUST have experience as an Administrator in a dental practice.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (Dentrix) is required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and administrative procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in phone systems.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in general office software applications and administrative tasks.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Education:

Experience:
- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phone inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using systems such as Dentrix or Epic.
- Process patient information and manage insurance claims as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding medical terminology and office procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and office functionality.
