JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment, particularly within a medical or dental setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and experience with electronic medical records, making them an essential part of our front desk operations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • MUST have experience as an Administrator in a dental practice.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (Dentrix) is required.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and administrative procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in phone systems.
  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in general office software applications and administrative tasks.
  • A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional patient service.

    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: From $17.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phone inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office.
  • Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records using systems such as Dentrix or Epic.
  • Process patient information and manage insurance claims as needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding medical terminology and office procedures.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and office functionality.
