We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at Reception and Medical Center located in Lake Butler, Florida (Union County). The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision, assisting the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting. Additional responsibilities include preparing and sterilizing dental instruments, preparing and maintaining the dental operatory, operating radiographic equipment, and additional administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or 12 months of experience as a Dental Assistant required Certified Dental Assistant license and/or Expanded Dental Assistant Certificate or ability to obtain one required within first 6 months of employment Florida Radiograph Certificate, or ability to obtain one required within the first 6 months of employment Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation preferred, or willing to obtain one upon hire Certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or willing to obtain one upon hire Ability to pass a security clearance, to include drug screen and complete criminal background check 6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...
