Website: Oral Surgery Associates Preparing patients for dental work. Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures. Assisting the dentist with procedures when necessary. Providing great patient care. Recording treatment information in patient records. Giving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs. Upholding equipment standards/protecting and maintaining all dental tools in the practice Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs. Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist. Maintaining all HIPAA and OSHA required trainings and compliance Upholding equipment standards/protecting and maintaining all dental tools in the practice Requirements At least 1 year of dental assisting experience is preferred Be self-motivated, organized, and have a positive attitude Possess great understanding of dental terminology Have excellent communication and written skills Have excellent public relations skills Work well with patients and team Be experienced in delivering high-level customer service Committed to the position arriving on time daily and staying late as needed.
