Established pediatric dental practice serving families in the Anthem/Phoenix community for over a decade Fun, child-focused environment designed to make dental visits positive and stress-free for kids Supportive, team-oriented culture that values collaboration and patient-centered care Opportunity to work alongside an experienced pediatric dental team committed to excellence Modern office focused on creating a welcoming and educational experience for children and families Experience & Key Responsibilities: Assist the doctor chairside during pediatric dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards Take and process digital dental radiographs Help create a calm, positive, and comfortable experience for pediatric patients Educate parents and patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventative treatment recommendations Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management. Requirements Previous dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric experience is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both children and parents Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and sterilization procedures X-ray certification and coronal polishing certification preferred based on state requirements Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined.
