As an equal opportunity employer, we offer a team-oriented, collaborative work environment for close to 400 employees at eight different locations in Rutland and southern Addison counties.  ABOUT THE ROLE: Under the direction of the dentist, the Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist in performing clinical treatments of patients.  The assistant prepares the work area in advance of patient procedures, performs various office tasks, and helps patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment. This position does not need previous Dental Assistant experience or dental experience. We will provide all training on the site! FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:  * Takes accurate dental radiographs as indicated by dentist. * Assists the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. * Mixes dental materials * Takes accurate dental impressions following proper sterilization protocols. * Intakes and updates patient’s medical and dental history. * Disinfects treatment rooms according to OSHA regulations. * Sterilizes all instruments and hand pieces according to OSHA regulations.
