JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a private multi-specialty practice located in Cambridge, MA seeking a permanent full-time and part-time dental assistant to join us. We are a T accessible office and have an employee parking garage for free parking.
We would like to find a professional who enjoys their career. A positive and dependable dental assistant with a can do attitude to complement our already amazing and established dental practice. Experience with assisting in Endodontics and Periodontics is a plus.
We are seeking a candidate who is well versed in dental assisting and is punctual. Along side a dentist you would be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care and aide to make the office procedures run as smooth as possible.
We are looking to hire immediately and we have 2 fantastic positions available in our growing and established office. Payrate depends on experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous and proven experience as a dental assistant
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Dental software experience is helpful… Eaglesoft
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school
  • Certified Assistant License and Radiology Certified
    You must have a valid and current dental assisting license for Massachusetts and you must have experience, applicants that apply without these requirements will not be considered for this position

Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers into the operatory
  • Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
  • Take radiographs and intra-orals effectively,
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
