REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Dental Assisting (a must)
  • NDAEB (a must)
  • Proof of H.A.R.P. certification
  • Public Health Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) experience (minimum 1 year)
  • All IPAC Certificates (valid upon hire)
  • CPR Certificate (valid upon hire)
  • Open Dental Software Experience (nice to have but not required)
  • Dental Assisting Experience (minimum of 1 year)

  • Written and digital record-keeping
  • Inventory control
  • Following all IPAC, RCDSO, and Health & Safety guidelines Assisting pediatric dentist
  • Assisting pediatric specialist
  • Assisting dental anesthesiologist
  • Taking digital radiographs
  • Operatory setup/teardown
  • Open Dental Software digital chart note taking and treatment planning
  • Office morning set-up and end of day clean-up
