Description

Dentologie is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), minimum of 6 months General Practice DA experience, to provide outstanding patient care in our Ballard location (1836 NW Market St Seattle, WA 98107).

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Required: at least six months of dental assistant experience.
  • Minimum requirement: active dental assistant registration in State of Washington.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, customer service & written communication skills.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Clinical knowledge, skills along with patient care.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Preferred: coronal polishing certificate.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of patient care, office and laboratory duties.
  • Assist dentist chairside during examination and treatment of patients during a variety of operative treatment procedures.
  • Provide a 10-star Patient experience.
  • Contribute positively to an engaging company culture.
  • Prepares instruments and materials for the dentist for upcoming procedures.
  • Provide direct patient care in all dental services, including restorative, orthodontics, pediatric, endodontic, periodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery.
  • Passes dental instruments between provider and assistant (4 handed dentistry).
  • Make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair while preparing them for treatment.
  • Sterilize & disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories post treatment.
  • Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos.
  • Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations as well as planned treatment.
  • Monitor daily supplies for restocking.
  • Assists the dentist in providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
  • Follows infection control protocol by preparing and sterilizing instruments, equipment, and all clinical settings
