We are expanding - Looking for a Full Time Experienced Level II Dental Assistant

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is mandatory. (Minimum 4 YEARS)
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care is essential.
• Proficiency in using dental software Abeldent
• Strong organizational skills with attention IPAC protocols/sterilization along with detail in managing patient records and appointments.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Certification in dental assisting Level II + Harp and Valid CPR

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. IPAC Standards
• Sterilze instrument in accordance to Public Health/ IPAC standards
