Description Overview of Job We are looking for a Dental Assistant to work with our exceptional dentists! Key Responsibilities Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Prepares patient for dental treatment. Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area. Provides diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies, pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts. Fabricates restorations; cleans and polishes removable appliances. Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification. Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions. Documents dental care services by charting in patient records Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Ensures operation of dental equipment Maintains dental supplies inventory. Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession. Valid X-ray certificate. Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements). CPR & first aid certificate. FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Reports to: Operations Manager
