Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support the dental team in delivering excellent dental services.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare treatment rooms for procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Perform various office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
-HARP Certified required
- Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience
- X-ray certification preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods
- Experience with Abeldent or similar dental software is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
- Implant, surgical and cosmetic dentistry experience is beneficial
- Familiarity with Abeldent and Carestream software is advantageous
- Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is beneficial but not mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
