Description Dental Assistant – Full Time Fairmont Family Dental | Pasadena, TX Fairmont Family Dental is looking for a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team! We’re a patient-focused, modern practice that values teamwork, efficiency, and delivering high-quality care. Schedule: Tuesday – Friday + 1–2 Saturdays per month Approximately 28–32 hours per week (full-time benefits eligible) What You’ll Do: Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of procedures Prepare and break down operatories efficiently Take digital X-rays and impressions Support procedures including clear aligners and dental implants Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental Ensure a smooth and positive patient experience What We’re Looking For: Minimum 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience Experience with Open Dental (preferred) Experience with iTero scanner (a strong plus) Familiarity with clear aligner cases and implant procedures Strong communication and organizational skills Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, PTO, etc.) Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow your skills in advanced procedures If you’re looking for a practice where you can expand your clinical skills and be part of a great team, we’d love to meet you! Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession. Valid X-ray certificate. Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements). CPR & first aid certificate. FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Reports to: Operations Manager
Responsibilities
The Dental Assistant will provide chairside support during various procedures and manage operatory preparation and breakdown. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a positive patient experience.
