We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical records management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays while ensuring compliance with HARP regulations.
  • Manage patient records software systems such as Dentrix including medical documentation and medical coding.
  • Conduct preliminary assessments by taking vital signs and gathering medical history from patients.
  • Provide chairside assistance to dentists during various dental treatments, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all areas comply with aseptic techniques.
  • Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
