Dental Assistant (DA)  Full Time Lansing, Michigan   Derksen Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full Time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties. We have a small team so each of us are cross-trained to help in every department. If you have a positive attitude, love dentistry and enjoy working with fun professionals, we would consider you to join our team!  Derksen Dentistry 2410 Lake Lansing Rd.  Lansing, MI. 48912 Schedule: * Monday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM * Tuesday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM * Wednesday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Summer hours until Oct 1st then Wed 8:00-5:00) * Thursday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM * Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (availability to rotate to stay until 1:00 occasionally is appreciated)   Our dedicated team includes: * One Lead Dentist * One Area Manager * One Practice Lead * Three FT Front Desk Coordinators * Five FT Registered Dental Hygienist (a few temps on call) * Five FT Dental Assistants * One FT Dental Hygiene Assistant Requirements: * X-Ray certification in state of Michigan preferred  * Coronal Polish/Sealant Certification preferred but not required * High school graduate or equivalent  * Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures  * Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations * CPR certification * Computer efficiency- charting and scheduling  * Excellent communication skills * Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients * Integrity-focused work ethic * Team-player attitude * Ability to multi-task * Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback * Excited to be part of a dental family and a career to be proud of!    Benefits: * Full-time employees (30+ hours per week) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, as well as access to a variety of voluntary benefits. * Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off and holiday pay. * All employees may participate in our 401(k) retirement savings plan, which includes a company match.   Bright Direction Dental is an equal opportunity employer.
