Work Schedule [working within hours listed below]: Monday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Thursday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Compensation Range: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour based on experience Qualifications: Prior Dental Assistant experience 2-4 years Required Prior experience making crown temps, packing cord, placing matrix bands preferred Working experience with Dentrix highly preferred Itero camera / Itero scan experience preferred Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify X-ray certification where state regulations specify Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment Take dental radiographs (x-rays) Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health By joining our team, you will have: Time Off: Up to 3 weeks PTO + 8 Paid Holidays (PTO rolls over!) Working Environment & Physical Requirements This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
