This individual partners closely with dentists and clinical teams to prepare treatment rooms, assist during procedures, maintain sterilization standards, and support patient education and comfort. What You’ll Do • Assist dentists during dental procedures while maintaining patient comfort and efficiency  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before appointments  • Take and organize dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations  • Ensure all equipment and instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained  • Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards  • Welcome and prepare patients for treatment in a warm and professional manner  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care  • Maintain accurate patient records within Dentrix or other systems  • Assist with scheduling coordination and inventory management  • Support a positive, team-centered office culture Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:  • High school diploma or equivalent required  • Dental Assisting education or training preferred, but not required  • Ability to learn dental software systems quickly  • Strong communication and organizational skills    Preferred Qualifications:  • Previous dental office experience  • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential  • Experience with Dentrix software  • Dental radiography certification Why Join First Choice Dental?
