JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
• Previous experience in dental assisting or related roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is beneficial for working with younger patients.
• Experience in orthodontics or as a dental receptionist will be considered an asset.

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting.
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area in compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
• Perform administrative tasks such as managing inventory of dental supplies.
