Are you a motivated Dental Assistant looking to make a real difference in patient care? HCF is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at the Hornsby Dental Centre, with additional opportunities at our Chatswood location. Please note this is a permanent, Part-time (32 hours per week) role over 4 days a week with a preference for one of the days to be Wednesday Key Responsibilities Provide clinical assistance to the dentist and ensure a comfortable environment for patients and team members Comply with HCF Dental Quality Management System, policies, and procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment Support the Practice Manager and Dentist in Charge by fostering teamwork and smooth centre operations Key Focus Areas Patient Flow: Monitor day sheets, coordinate patient appointments, and assist with emergency patients Chair Side Assisting: Prepare instruments and materials, assist during clinical procedures, and develop radiographs Surgery Organisation: Uphold infection control, manage surgery changeovers, and maintain stock and equipment Sterile Supply: Clean and sterilise instruments, validate sterilisation cycles, and maintain stock levels Work Health & Safety: Comply with WHS standards, report hazards, and participate in safety training What We’re Looking For Essential Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated dental knowledge and experience Neat appearance and commitment to personal hygiene Ability to maintain confidentiality, tact and diplomacy Demonstrated initiative and common sense Basic computer literacy Desirable Reception experience or willingness to cross-train Qualifications in radiography, sterilising, and/or first aid Certificate III in Dental Assisting About HCF At HCF, our purpose is to bring our human touch to healthcare. Responsibilities

Provide clinical assistance to the dentist and ensure a comfortable environment for patients. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment while supporting the Practice Manager and Dentist in Charge.
