Description Axiom Dentistry in Raleigh (Leesville) is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to support our hygiene team and help ensure an exceptional patient experience through efficient, organized clinical care. What We’re Looking For Prior dental assisting experience preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong communication skills and attention to detail Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Coachable and open to feedback Patient-focused with a strong work ethic Key Responsibilities Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms while maintaining OSHA-compliant infection control standards Assist hygienists with patient flow and clinical support throughout the day Take and update patient medical histories and chart information Seat patients and ensure they are comfortable and prepared for treatment Perform sterilization and instrument processing duties Assist with lab tasks, including impressions, models, whitening trays, and retainers as needed Provide patient education and post-treatment instructions Support scheduling follow-ups and communicate effectively with the administrative team Participate in daily huddles and help maintain efficient clinical operations Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent NC X-ray Certification required Current CPR Certification Previous dental or hygiene assisting experience preferred Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) PTO + Holiday Pay Competitive Pay Schedule Monday–Thursday: 7:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Note: Any pay range information that may appear with this posting may be based on third-party market data and is provided for general reference only.
