We are actively seeking to hire a full-time Dental Assistant for our SouthPark Pediatric Dentistry Location.   As a Pediatric Dental Assistant II, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive dental care to our young patients while maintaining a positive and nurturing environment. This position requires the flexibility to travel to one or more locations as needed, ensuring consistent support across all practices.   What You’ll Do: * Assist pediatric dentists during dental procedures, including cleanings, examinations, and treatments * Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and equipment for each patient appointment * Comfort and communicate effectively with pediatric patients, calming any anxieties and ensuring a positive dental experience * Take dental X-rays as directed by the dentist, ensuring adherence to safety protocols * Educate parents and guardians on proper oral hygiene techniques for children and provide post-operative care instructions * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, charting, and progress notes * Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas to meet infection control standards * Collaborate with the front office staff to schedule appointments * Assist in managing inventory of dental supplies and equipment * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting a safe and welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff * Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel to various practice locations as required.  What We’re Looking For: * Completion of an accredited dental assistant program * X-ray certification * CPR certification * Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures * Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with children and their families * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team * Flexibility to travel to different practice locations as needed * Bilingual is a plus!   What We Offer: * Competitive compensation & benefits package * Growth opportunities within a supportive and friendly team * The chance to make a difference in children’s oral health * Health Savings account * Paid time off * Life Insurance * Travel Stipend Join us in creating brighter smiles for kids!
