Description
We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, skilled in chairside support, and able to maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive experience for every patient. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Chairside Assistance * Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals) * Hand instruments to the dentist and anticipate procedural needs * Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Patient Care & Communication * Greet and prepare patients for treatment * Review medical histories and update patient records * Provide post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education Sterilization & Infection Control * Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines * Organize and maintain dental supplies and instruments * Ensure operatory cleanliness and readiness between appointments Administrative Support (as needed) * Schedule appointments and confirm visits * Assist with billing, insurance processing, or charting * Maintain accurate treatment documentation QUALIFICATIONS * Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred * X-ray certification (Required) * Expanded Functions and/or coronal polishing certificate (preferred)  * Knowledge of Dentrix. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Monday- Friday 9AM-5PM 1 Hour Lunch 1PM- 2PM
