SKILLS

  • Proficiency in dental software such as Epic and Dentrix is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Orthodontics, Pediatrics, or as a Dental Receptionist is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
  • Excellent dental assisting skills, including knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Maintain patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including managing insurance claims and patient billing.
