Lead Dental Assistant Instructor We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant eager to develop their leadership and teaching skills. In this role, you won't just be assisting; you will be shaping the future of dentistry by training the next generation of professionals. Schedule: Morning 8 am to 12 Noon | Additional hours available for assisting in the lab Scheduled Hours: 25 Compensation:$23.73 to $29.66 WHY JOIN PMI? * Mentor students in a hands-on learning environment. * Influence program excellence through curriculum development. * Collaborate with industry partners and advisory boards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Program Oversight: * Facilitate advisory board meetings; report on student progress, externships, and community feedback. * Lead curriculum reviews and recommend updates during revision cycles. * Orient new hires and mentor faculty. Teaching & Student Support: * Deliver dynamic lessons using varied teaching methods. * Provide timely feedback (within 72 hours) on assignments and clinical work. * Advise students on academic/behavioral concerns. Administrative & Compliance: * Update Program Effectiveness Plans (PEP) annually. * Document student progress, attendance, and incidents. * Ensure safety standards and supervise externships (if applicable). WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: * Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program OR 3+ years of clinical experience. * 3+ years of practical dental assisting experience. * CDA, RDA, or dentist licensure (state-compliant). * Expertise in four/six-handed dentistry principles.
