Overview: We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for patient care and a strong background in dental assisting. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - Prepare patients for dental work - Take and develop dental x-rays - Manage patient records and documentation - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies Requirements: - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience - X-ray certification preferred - Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix or Epic - Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry - Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, or CAD is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Dental Assistant looking to further their career in a supportive and patient-focused practice.
