Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant Nurse to join our dental team. The role involves assisting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining proper sterilization protocols, and supporting smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and surgeries.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before each patient appointment.
  • Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment.
  • Take and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment notes when required.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Manage dental radiographs (X-rays) as per DHA/MOH regulations.
  • Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Support front-desk operations such as appointment scheduling, billing, and patient follow-up if needed.
  • Ensure compliance with DHA/DOH/MOH guidelines and clinic protocols.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Nursing or Dental Assisting.
  • License: Valid DHA/MOH/DOH eligibility or license (or willing to activate).
  • Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, freshers with DHA eligibility may also apply.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and chairside assistance.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
