OUR CORE VALUES Servanthood • Unity • Passion • Humility • Thankfulness POSITION SUMMARY The Oral Surgery Dental Assistant plays a critical role in supporting oral surgeons and clinical teams before, during, and after surgical procedures. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist oral surgeons during extractions, implant placements, bone grafting, biopsies, and other oral surgery procedures.  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and surgical equipment.  • Take and process digital radiographs and CBCT images.  • Monitor patient comfort and support efficient procedure flow.  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions.  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.  • Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and sterilization protocols.  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies. QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma or equivalent.  • Dental Assistant certification as required by state regulations.  • Current CPR/BLS certification.  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  • Oral surgery experience preferred.  • Experience with implants, sedation, and CBCT technology preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and positioning around dental chairs.  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.  • Manual dexterity required for handling instruments and equipment.  • Ability to wear PPE and work in a clinical setting.
