OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality dental care to patients and support the smooth operation of the dental office.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures
• Experience with dental software
• Knowledge of medical coding for insurance purposes
• Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques
• Ability to perform general dentistry assisting tasks
• Experience with 3D scanners is a plus
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare patients for dental work
• Take dental x-rays
• Manage infection control, including sterilizing instruments and setting up the rooms
• Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Register patients, scan documents and schedule next appointment.
