Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures.
  • Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.
  • Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals willing to learn).
  • Certification as a Level I or Level II Dental Assistant
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
  • Comfort with dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus!
  • Evening and weekend availability. The clinic is open 7-days a week and until 9pm Mon-Fri.
  • HARP and CPR certified.
  • IPAC and WHMIS certification is an asset but not required.
