Position: Dental Assistant
Location: NE, Calgary
Clinic: Memorial Square Dental
We are excited to add a Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to our amazing, dedicated team to complement a new dentist we are adding to the team!

Responsibilities

SPECIFICS ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Benefits: Continuing Education opportunities, Dental Benefits, and Health Spending
  • Schedule: 5 days a week, two evenings and every Saturday. (Tues- Sat, Mon off) Tues: 12pm-7pm, Weds: 11am-7pm, Thurs: 9.30am-4.30pm, Fri: 9am-4pm, Sat: 8am-3.30pm.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures.
  • Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.
  • Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Experience as a Dental Assistant is an asset but new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Experience using Dentrix would be considered an asset.
  • Ortho Module will be beneficial but not necessary
  • Mutilingual, previous scanner knowledge will be beneficial
  • Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant and in good standing with the CADA.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
  • Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus!
