Specifics about the role: Job Type: Part Time Schedule: Monday -Friday 12- 9pm Saturday and Sunday 9am -7pm Wage: $23 - $28/hr What you’ll do: Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures. Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records. Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication. Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment. Assists in Implants, Extractions, Bone grafts, Root Canals. What you’ll bring to the role: Experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred 1 + years) Certification as a Level II Dental Assistant Strong verbal and written communication skills, you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it. Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease. A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team. Comfort with dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus! Evening and weekend availability. The clinic is open 7-days a week and until 9pm Mon-Fri. HARP and CPR certified. IPAC and WHMIS certification is an asset but not required.
