RESPONSIBILITIES · Assist dentists during pediatric dental procedures. · Support hygienists during patient visits as needed. · Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments. ·Assess dental condition and needs of patient; uses patient screening procedures, to include medical history review, dental charting, and charge entries. · Help create a calm, positive experience for pediatric patients and parents. · Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate clinical records. · Maintain confidentiality and follow office policies while following HIPAA guidelines. · Follow all safety, infection control, and office protocols.
