Dental Assistant (DA) North Dental Professionals is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties. We have a small team so each of us are cross-trained to help in every department. North Dental Professionals: * 5953 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646 * 4905 Old Orchard Ctr, Ste 535, Skokie, IL 60077 * We travel between our 2 locations every other week. So the position would be for both offices. Schedule: * Monday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM * Friday 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM * 1 Saturday per month 7:30 AM-2:00 PM Compensation: * $25-29 per hour (Commensurate with Experience) Requirements: * X-Ray certification in the state of Illinois preferred but not required * Coronal Polish/Sealant certification required * High school graduate or equivalent * Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures * Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations * CPR certification * Computer efficiency- charting and scheduling * Excellent communication skills * Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients * Integrity-focused work ethic * Team-player attitude * Ability to multi-task * Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback * Excited to be part of a dental family and a career to be proud of!
