JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and experience Level II Dental Assistant to join our dynamic and growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in dental assisting techniques and practices with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Level II.
  • Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Dentrix is required.
  • Knowledge of orthodontics and experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Dental assisting: 2 years (required)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth operation of the practice.
  • Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric patients when required.
