Description Austin Center for Endodontics is seeking a dependable, full-time Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Teamwork, communication, and mutual respect are key elements of our daily culture. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms before patient examinations and procedures. Assist the dentist throughout a variety of dental procedures by passing instruments, managing suction, and ensuring patient comfort. Take and record vital signs and complete patient assessments as needed. Capture dental x-rays and other imaging as directed. Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health system. Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe environment. Provide patients with oral hygiene guidance and post-operative care instructions. Help manage the schedule by booking appointments and supporting patient flow throughout the day. Requirements One or more years of experience in dentistry is preferred. Active RDA license is required. Openness to training is welcomed, but the ability to learn new systems quickly and maintain strong attention to detail is essential. Understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments. Familiarity with infection control standards and HIPAA guidelines. Comfort using electronic health record software. Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform basic assessments. Experience with dental imaging is a plus. Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach. High attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with safety protocols.
